STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be inspired, inerrant, and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is our guide and final word in faith and practice.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death on the Cross through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection on the third day, in His bodily ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for people to be saved from sin and spiritual death and have assurance of eternal life in heaven in the presence of God, it is essential that they repent for their sins and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of their sins and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit becoming born again and children of God.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and through whose baptism they are able to be powerful witnesses in a lost world.
We believe that all of the spiritual gifts described in the New Testament are available today and that the Holy Spirit distributes these gifts according to God's will and purpose.
We believe that water baptism is an outward sign of an inward conviction and that all who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are to come to the waters of baptism as a profession of their faith.
We believe that communion, or the celebration of the Lord's Supper, is to be taken together as a congregation on a regular basis since it is a remembrance of the Lord's death until He comes again.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
